It was a great day to be a Tiger at the Regional Special Olympics Track and Field event yesterday! Approximately 48 students from 2nd grade to 12th grade competed from Fort Scott. Our very own Carter Collier led the Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Run to kick off the event. The mission of the Special Olympics is to give the students continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sports.
