10/26/22 Callen received the Kindness Heart Award for being a super friend today, when his friend dropped his bus under the table, Callen crawled on the floor to find it for him. That was so Kind!!!!

10/20/22 Emma received a Kindness Heart Award for picking up the dump trucks off the playground and putting them in the shed. She is such a helpful friend!


Early Childhood Families- You're invited to "Paint the Town" this Thursday, October 27th from 5:30-7:00 at Happy Kids, 1502 Scott Ave. This event, sponsored by Center of Community Supports at Greenbush, is for all families with children ages birth to 5 years. This is a messy play activity, so wear your play clothes!

10/19/2022 Kennedy received The Kindness Heart Award for helping her friends open their playdough, she is such a kind friend and so helpful!


10/18/2022 Freyja received The Kindness Heart Award for taking turns at the doll house with 2 of her friends.


10/12/22 Josiah received the Kindness Heart Award for helping his friend pick up toys after she dropped them on the floor. He also helped the teacher put away 2 balls someone left out in the gym.


Two dates to put on your calendars, Saturday, October 28, 2022, Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit will be at the Pittsburg State University Veterans Memorial from 10 am to 3 pm. Then on December 17, 2022, the National Wreath Laying Day will be at the Fort Scott National Cemetery.

National School Bus Safety Week is October 17-21st and October 19th is School Transportation Appreciation Day! We appreciate our drivers and transportation department making sure our kids get to school throughout the year. Give a BIG thank you to our drivers if you see them around town this week!


October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Next week our Pre-K to 5th graders can help raise awareness by taking part in Bullying Prevention Spirit Week which will run October 24-28th.
Please note: The slight variation for preschoolers on Friday.
