
A State Send-Off for the FSHS Wrestling teams will be held Thursday, February 27th. We will have a send-off at the high school at 10 am, and then the teams will drive by the grade schools and middle school at 10:30. They should be headed down National around 10:45/10:50. The community is invited to line National and Wall Street and show support for the State Wrestlers as they head to Salina!

Fort Scott High School would like to introduce Johnathan Stark as our new Head Football Coach for the 2025 season. He will also be teaching Physical Education beginning next school year. Stark is a 2013 graduate of FSHS and taught and coached at FSHS in 2017. He was also an assistant coach at DeSoto before head coach stints at Uniontown and El Dorado Springs. Most recently he was an assistant coach at Pittsburg High School during the 2024 season. Johnathan and his wife Sarah have 3 children: Evie who is 3, and twins Ella and Eli who are 20 months. FSHS is excited to have Coach Stark back as a Tiger!!!

The Fort Scott Tigers Boys Wrestling team will be in action Saturday at the 4A Regional Tournament at Labette County High School. Wrestling will begin at 10 am. Admission is $8 for Adults and $6 for Students. The wrestlers will be attempting to qualify for the 4A State Tournament next weekend in Salina. Go Tigers!!!


Tiger Basketball at Pittsburg tonight in SEK action! The #5 ranked Lady Tigers will play at 6:00 with the JV at 4:30 in the main gym at PHS. Varsity Boys will tip off at 7:30 with the JV starting at 4:30 followed by the C Boys in the Aux Gym.
For those traveling to Pittsburg for the games, be advised that as of yesterday Free King's Highway was not completely cleared off from the snow. Broadway and 4th Street are cleared and are the suggested routes. Go Tigers!!!



UPDATE: Tonight's FSHS performance of "And Then They Came For Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" has been moved to Sunday, February 23rd.
Performances are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at 7 pm in the FSHS Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults and available at fortscotthighschool.ludus.com or at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 prior to each performance.



Spring Sports parent meetings will be held Wednesday, February 26th at 6 pm at Fort Scott High School. These meetings are for parents of FSHS students who plan to participate in the following Spring sports: Boys or Girls Track, Baseball, Softball, Boys Golf, Boys Tennis, and Girls Swimming.


FSHS Boys Swimming will be competing today at the League Swim Meet in Osawatomie. The meet begins at 4:00. Good luck Tiger Swimmers!!!


FSHS Girls Wrestling today at the 4A Regional Tournament at Paola High School. Wrestling begins at 1:00. Spectators are encouraged to check out the Parking and Ticketing information included in this post. Parking will be limited on Friday with school still in session. FSHS Boys Wrestling will be competing today at the SEK League Tournament at Labette County High School. 3:00 start. This will be the final competition for the Boys team before the Regional Tournament on February 22nd, also at Labette County. Go Tigers!!!


Fort Scott High School Thespians presents the play "And Then They Came for Me - Remembering the World of Anne Frank" by James Still.
Performances are at 7 p.m. on Feb. 20-22 in the FSHS Auditorium.
