
This week the Fort Scott High School Tiger Pride Club has selected Sophomores Xandria Fowler and Natalie Miles as FSHS Students of the Week for the week of March 31st. Congratulations!



FSHS Softball, 3-0 to start the season, will take on Baxter Springs today in a single Varsity game. This game was scheduled at Baxter Springs but will instead be played at Fort Scott Community College at 5:00. No sunflower seeds or shells allowed at the field. Go Tigers!!!


The FSHS Baseball team is 5-0 on the season and will be in Paola today to face the 4-0 Panthers. This is a Varsity doubleheader and starts at 4:30 at Cottonwood Elementary in Paola. Spectators must park and enter on west side of complex. No sunflower seeds or shelled nuts allowed in complex, and pets are not allowed in complex as well. Admission is $7 adults and $5 students. Go Tigers!!!


Good luck to the FSHS Swim Team as they compete in their season opening meet today at Osawatomie! 4:00 start. Go Tigers!!!


Congratulations to the FSHS Softball team on winning the Fort Scott Softball Tournament yesterday! Won the first game 10-2 over Ottawa and the second game 16-0 over Louisburg to move to 3-0 on the season. Next up, a single Varsity game at Baxter Springs Thursday. Go Tigers!!!

Congratulations to the FSHS Tennis Team on a successful start to the season. The team finished in 2nd place as a team and had several solid individual performances. They are back in action at their home Varsity tournament Tuesday in Pittsburg at the PHS courts.

All SEK League Basketball teams were announced earlier this month. Congratulations to Girls Basketball players Kylie Comstock and Abbie Gorman on earning 1st Team honors, and Kanin Brown (2nd Team) and Dub Chipman (Honorable Mention) for making the Boys team. Also, special congratulations to Girls Basketball Head Coach Pechone Stepps and Boys and Girls Wrestling Coach Alvin Metcalf for being named SEK Coach of the Year in their respective sports. Girls Basketball Sub-State Championship Game today in Fort Scott! Fort Scott takes on Labette County for the right to advance to the 4A State Tournament in Salina next week. Start time is 5:00, doors will open to spectators at 4:00. KSHSAA ticket prices: $8 adults, $6 students K-12. No passes accepted.
