School Resource Officer Mike Trim joined the Tiger family in 2017. Our SRO program is about building relationships, safety, and education. Mike knows the kids and staff in our District. We are grateful for his knowledge and expertise as a law enforcement officer.
A little background from Officer Trim:
I have been married to my wife, Angie, for 25 years and I have three grown kids, Kailey, Caleb, and Ellie. I enjoy teaching self-defense related subjects, CrossFit workouts, hunting, fishing, and traveling with my wife.
I began my law enforcement career in 1998 as a US Army military policeman. From 2001-2004 I worked for the Greene County Sheriff's Department in Springfield, Missouri as a correctional officer. Since 2004, I have been a police officer with the Fort Scott Police Department. During my time with the Fort Scott Police Department I have held the rank of police officer, Corporal, patrol sergeant, field training officer, detective, tactical team officer, firearms instructor, and professional training coordinator. This school year began my 6th year as School Resource Officer, which has been my favorite job in law enforcement.
