Local Scholarships
If you are expecting a local scholarship payment for second semester paid by Fort Scott High School, you must provide a statement of student account to receive payment.
Peterson Scholarship
If you are expecting a Peterson Scholarship payment for second semester, you must provide a statement of student account, current schedule with credit hours listed and grades from the previous semester to be eligible for payment.
All documents must be in a PDF or printable type of format. Screenshots or pictures of any kind will not be accepted. All documents can be sent to Rhonda Dawson at Fort Scott High School or emailed to rhonda.dawson@usd234.org.
Peterson Scholarship for 2025-2026 school year
Peterson Scholarship applications are available at Fort Scott High School or can be found on our district website. usd234.org, choose school- Fort Scott High School, Menu, Documents, Scholarship Applications, Peterson Scholarship. (link- Peterson Scholarship) All Peterson Scholarship applications are due by April 15, 2025.
Applications will not be accepted after the deadline and must include all required paperwork to be accepted.
