Auditions for 2024-2025 Varsity Choir will take place next Wednesday, April 17th, and Thursday, April 18th, in the Choir Room. Sign up sheet is on Mrs. Chesney's door. If possible, please leave time slots during the school day for student-athletes who have to practice/compete after school.
PROM NEWS: Juniors and Seniors who are attending prom and bringing an out-of-school date need to have them signed up in the office and the out-of-district form filled out and turned in before Tuesday, April 30th!
The list of students invited to the Honors Reception that will be held Thursday, April 18th, is posted outside Mrs. DeLaTorre’s (Counseling Department) office. To make this list, students' GPA had to be at least 3.5 for both 1st semester and 3rd quarter of this school year, NOT an average of the two. If you have questions about the list, please see Mrs. DeLaTorre.

ATTENTION, CLASS OF 2024!
There are Seniors who have books due in the library. These books need to be returned by Friday, April 26th, or you will NOT receive your diploma. Check with Mrs. Fleming in the Media Center/Library if you think you are on her list. You also need to check with Rhonda Dawson or Angie DeLaTorre in the office to see if you still owe fees and check with the kitchen to see if you owe anything. You will not receive your diploma until ALL fees are paid.
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP CORNER!
LINK: SCHOLARSHIPS DUE IN APRIL!
Just a reminder that the Peterson Scholarship deadline is Monday, April 15, 2024. There have been some changes with the FAFSA for this year. There is no longer a Student Aid Report (SAR). Page one of the Submission Summary with your SAI (Student Aid Index) number on it is what is needed. It should include your name at the top and a number at the bottom. For this year since there have been changes with the FAFSA and the lengthy time it is taking to process, if you do not have your FAFSA processed by the deadline, you must turn in all other required paperwork by April 15 to be eligible. Please turn in the FAFSA paperwork as soon as you can. If you have questions, contact Rhonda Dawson at Fort Scott High School at rhonda.dawson@usd234.org.
